Although, we did not want to import foreign products, several years ago it became apparent that if we were going to stay in business, it would be a necessity to do so. Even though many of our competitors would lead you to believe that the products they sell are made in this country, the truth is that most are not. Here at Owen's Originals, we are not afraid to tell it the way it is.
Cheap imported products from Taiwan, India, Korea and now China have driven prices down on many goods and put a lot of American companies out of business. Over the years, things have changed-not only in the backdrop market but in nearly every market in this country. Brad was always proud of the product he put out, treated his customers fairly and tried to offer a quality product at a fair price. At that time nearly all backdrops sold in the USA were still being produced here in the United States. Brad was an art teacher in the public schools for many years and began the company by hand painting backdrops for photographers. Owen's Originals was founded in 1978 by Brad Owen. *(Please note: A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returned items.) However, If the backdrop in question is a misprint, we may replace it. We also cannot accept returns on custom printed Backdrops for obvious reasons.

However, we will replace at no charge any software found to be defective for two weeks after date of purchase. *Note: We can not accept returns on any software product including digital backdrops. No returns will be accepted if received more than two weeks after date of shipment. We will then be happy to exchange it, repaint it or refund your money for the price of the product. After we recieve the product back, we will inspect it to be sure it is in new, unused condition (items that are damaged, stained or show obvious signs of use will not be accepted for return or exchange). You will be responsible only for return shipping. Please write this number on the outside of the return box (no returns will be accepted without an RA#). It is wrinkle free, all sizes except the 5x7 come with a hanging pocket on the top. It is very similar to a jersey sweatshirt. Softeez Is a tough, jersey like material. (This should be noted in the selection list. Some sizes are available with a pocket, some are not. It is a good, strong material that prints well and is very tough and hard to rip. It is actually a PVC Product as well but is much more pliable and drapes easily. This material is a step up from the Heavyweight Woven Vinyl. After ordering, please email your artwork to: bradowen If you want a red carpet step/repeat type backdrop, send us the logo you want to use (the higher resolution the better) and we will do the design and send it to you for approval.

If you have a copyright free photo or a digital image that is high resolution, we can use that. Normal turnaround on the custom backdrops is 7 to 10 days however, if you need it faster, please call: (785) 325-2026 and we may be able to accommodate you.

We can custom print almost any design to your specifications on Your Choice of three materials (See descriptions below) Our Prices are very competitive and we offer a lot of experience in custom backdrops (we have been selling backdrops since 1978) plus a very fast turnaround time. They are for the photography studio as well as trade shows and special events like wedding receptions, red carpet and photo booths. These are made using a dye sublimation print process (The ink is so permanent, they can even be washed!). We get them right and get them to you on time!ĭo you need a custom background?
